The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Employment and Training programs provide financial support for MNO citizens, or those that can provide a letter from the MNO’s registry verifying citizenship eligibility, who are interested in pursuing training with a defined career goal. Applicants must be able to demonstrate how the training relates to an employment outcome to be eligible for consideration of support through this program.
Submitting an Employment & Training online application is only the first step of the application process. All employment and training funded by the MNO Education and Training Branch must meet eligible guidelines and accountability requirements.
Once an application is submitted, you will receive an email and it will undergo a preliminary review to ensure all information and documents are included and that the request meets all eligibility requirements. The application will then be assigned to a case manager for further review and assessment.
Applicants will be contacted by a case manager who will require additional information and will complete an intake and assessment of your request. This is an important and necessary step in the application and review process. Failure to complete this step of the process can result in funding delays or your application being denied.
