Infinite Reach is a Métis Nation of Ontario program aimed at increasing the recruitment and retention of Métis post secondary students. We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic upper-year Métis post secondary students to act as facilitators at universities and colleges throughout the province for the academic 2025-26 year.
Together with our post secondary partners throughout the province, the Infinite Reach: Métis Student Solidarity Network will support student success, providing a sense of community for Métis students as they work towards accomplishing their academic pursuits.
Facilitators will be responsible for the following as part of their role:
1. Attending the in-person training session in July 4-6, 2025 (travel and accommodation provided)
2. Hosting one student centered event each semester (2 total)
3. Having an active presence within your Institution's Indigenous Education Centre
4. Connecting with the area MNO Community Council
5. Have an active presence on the MNO Education Hub.
To be eligible to be a Infinite Reach Facilitator applicants must be:
1. A citizen of the MNO, or one of the other governing members of the MNC (MN-BC, MNA, MN-S)
2. Reside in Ontario and attend an Ontario based Post-Secondary Institute
3. Be an upper year student (this includes final year students in all programs)
