The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) program is gathering favourite family recipes from Métis children and families to celebrate the joy of cooking, culture, and connection. Whether it's bannock, berry jam, or a modern twist on a traditional dish, use this application to send us the recipes you love to make together.
Let’s celebrate the delicious traditions that bring us to the table!
The Métis Nation of Ontario's Early Learning and Child Care Program and Services team will be accepting recipe applications for an upcoming cookbook from October 27, 2025 at 8:30 am EST until March 31, 2026 at 4:30 pm EST.
The eligibility for this application is as follows:
- If applying as a family, the parent/guardian, or child must be an MNO citizen eligible for direct benefits
- If applying as an individual, you must be an MNO citizen eligible for direct benefits
- The family or individual must permanently reside in Ontario
Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Successful applicants will be notified after the closing date.
