Dear Region 5 Families:
The 2026/27 Education School Supplies Program reimbursement portal is open from July 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm to November 5, 2026 at 12:00 pm. The portal link is as follows: Métis Nation of Ontario Program Application Portal (smapply.io)
Due to the high volume of applications, please allow 6-8 weeks for application review and processing. If you have not received payment by December 16, 2026, please email Region5@metisnation.org.

The Region 5 – Consultation Committee is pleased to offer the School Supplies Support Program for youth aged 13-19 years to support student studies.
General Guidelines
- Children must be between the ages of 13-19 years.
- The parent/guardian, or child, must be an MNO Citizen.
- The family must reside in Region 5, in the province of Ontario.
- Registration is based on the year of the child's birth.
School Supplies - This document explains the program, reimbursement amounts, and guidelines on what items are reimbursed.
In order to facilitate the processing of applications, please note the following:
- You may apply one time only per child between 13-19. It is a total of $100 of receipts per application per student.
- If you are submitting multiple receipts, please combine them on one application.
- All receipts MUST be purchased/paid for between July 30, 2026-November 5, 2026, of the current fiscal year. All receipts submitted outside these dates will be declined.

- Receipts MUST have a date and item(s) purchased.
- Receipts must be readable.
- Debit/credit card receipts and/or statements are not accepted.
- All receipts must show the full receipt.
- Bank or credit card statements are not accepted.
- E-transfers MUST show: date of e-transfer, who the e-transfer is to, and a description of the item.
- Please indicate the item(s) on the receipt you are submitting with the child's name/initials.
- Failure to provide supporting documentation and/or meet these guidelines will result in the entire application being declined. You would be required to submit a new application that meets the guidelines.
