The Early Learning and Child Care team is excited to offer a Spring Virtual Camp over four (4) evenings in May: May 7, 14, 21, and 28. The Métis Early Learning Spring Virtual Camp is open to Métis early learners between three (3) and twelve (12) years old. This virtual series will introduce families to the art of bread-making using a bread machine. Each session is designed for young learners and their parents, blending cooking, creativity, and connection to Métis culture.
This camp will follow a structure that has both guided and self-guided features. Registered families will attend multiple virtual sessions to receive step-by-step instructions and can use their time between sessions to complete their tasks. Sessions will run for one and a half (1.5) hours from 6:00–7:30 pm for all ages. Extended learning time will be available for participants for an additional thirty (30) minutes after each session for anyone needing further instructions or assistance. Families applying for this Spring Virtual Camp must attend all four sessions.
